From me to Sojourner:

Struggling a lot in my mind. Talked some more with my friend, my brother, and my cousin about this new-to-me information. All good conversations.

Received good feedback from you and another about the story I think God gave me to write and share.

Then met with an older lady from my old church for lunch. Super nice lady. But after my world came crashing down again. All the doubts, fears, and mental fights.

All to say I am really struggling a lot and totally confused right now.

Going to spend time sleeping and seeking God. I appreciate your prayers. Hopefully it will all get sorted out.

August 16, 2017 – From Sojourner:

You are on track if questions flood you. I find comfort in just knowing that.

Ask Jesus if he is confused. Ask Holy Spirit to help you see with the eyes of your heart. Lean into Papa.

Believe me, if you’ve had “my brain is exploding” experiences, you are not alone. There is much we struggle to comprehend and mystery surrounds much of God’s being. I guess if we could logically comprehend all of God, he wouldn’t be God, eh?

If you’ve tried to explain what you’re learning to others who are steeped in different views, please know they often will experience fear (remind me to explain amygdala responses), and need to prove you are wrong. That alright. It’s not our job to win an argument. Our job is to love and rest in God’s grace. He does hard work; we participate as he leads in the dance.

Much to process. It’s important to encourage one another!
