Life’s Uncertain Path

Looking down,
Into a deep, deep pit,
Staring and thinking,
I continually sit.

The sky is falling,
But I don’t care,
All I do,
Is sit and stare.

Stars go flying,
By my side,
The sky’s so bright,
Uncertain and wide.

Then I start running,
But my feet really hurt,
And the pain gets worse,
As I plow through the dirt.

The world is a blur,
And I can barely see,
So I stop running,
And focus on me.

Life’s Uncertain Path. Looking down into a deep, deep pit. Staring and thinking. I continually sit. The sky is falling but I don’t care. All I do is sit and stare. Stars go flying by my side. The sky’s so bright, uncertain and wide. Then I start running but my feet really hurt. The pain gets worse as I plow through the dirt. The world is a blur and I can barely see. So I stop running and focus on me.
