I always tell people, “Never give up!” But sometimes the encourager needs encouragement. I refer to myself as a “hope dealer”. I know from personal experience how difficult it can be to pull yourself up out of situations where you feel hopeless. Just two years ago, I was homeless and sleeping out of my car at truck stops. I am in a much better place now but I am still not where I want to be.

For me, education is a huge part of my potential for future success. It will give me new skills and open doors for me that I couldn’t open otherwise. I have been so pleased with the Real Estate Management program at San Antonio College. It was exactly what I was looking for. Dr. Rosenauer has been an invaluable asset to me. I always recommend the program to everyone I meet who is interested in pursuing a career in real estate.

As I prepare for my future, it has been very challenging. I’ve had to make a lot of sacrifices. When I see others taking it easy, it takes a lot of hard work to be disciplined. I know it will pay off eventually. I am reenergized to keep pressing. To keep pushing. To never give up!
