I’ve never been here, but the pictures look fantastic. Harsh elements. Surrounded by a desert environment. Right on the border. Please don’t head out here without researching and planning your trip.

Franklin Mountain West Overlook 1 – TX-375 Loop, El Paso, TX 79912
Super great view of part of El Paso. You can also see into Mexico. And the lights look really nice at night. However, the elevation to drive here increases rapidly and it is very windy up here. But, it is a no-frills overlook, so take whatever you need and prepare accordingly. Also, the drivers on the road are very experienced. They will drive fast and pressure you to drive faster.
