Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo – NRG Park, Houston, TX 77054
One of the bigger rodeos you may ever experience. Of course they have rodeo events along with fairgrounds, parades, music events, shopping, and many other offerings. Usually happens in February and March.

International Quilt Festival – George R. Brown Convention Center, Houston, TX
You might not be into quilts, but I’d still recommend going to this event if you are artistic. There are so many beautiful pieces of fabric art at this event. Usually held in November.

Sightseeing

Sam Houston Boat Tour – 7300 Clinton Dr, Houston, TX 77020
This is one of my favorite things to do in Houston. I believe they require advance reservations in order to do a background check prior to boarding. So please plan accordingly. Also, please check on whether the tour is even offered due to current events. But that being said, it’s a great boat tour of the port in Houston with the massive cargo ships.
