Coffee

Disclaimer – I don’t drink coffee, so I can’t recommend any of these based on how the coffee tastes.

AR•U•SHA Coffee & Tea126 N East St, Belton, TX 76513
Very cool space for such a small town. Great vibe in a historic building. Their specialty seems to be many different flavors of tea. Great place to meet someone or just sit back and relax for awhile. They also have some meals to order. I’ve always enjoyed the food and the tea.

Local Coffee302 Pearl Parkway, Ste 118, San Antonio, TX 78215
This company was founded in San Antonio. They expanded to eleven locations and then sold all but this location in the thick of the Pearl District. Good ambiance for small meetings or people watching.

Mozart’s3825 Lake Austin Blvd, Austin, TX 78703
One of my all-time favorite Austin spots. A coffee joint right on the lake. Great sunsets on the water. You can see lots of fish below. Many decks. Lots of people and the traffic and parking can get horrendous as there are several popular spots in this area. But I highly recommend it if you can get in on a less busy day. Great spot to relax by the water. They also have a big Christmas lights show.

Radio Coffee & Beer4204 Menchaca Rd, Austin, TX 78704
Great atmosphere. Feels spread out even though there are a ton of people here sometimes. Check out the Veracruz All Natural food truck for great tacos. Lots of dogs. Cool neighborhood vibe. I was thrown off by the parking for a long time. You’ll see everyone fighting for the spaces off Fort View Road, but there is a lot more parking in the lot on the other side of the building with the entrance primarily off Menchaca Road.
