I used to go here a lot when it was named Hoa My. The portions back then were huge and the food was great. I think there has been a change in ownership with higher prices and smaller portions. But it might still be worth a try.

My favorite thing to order here is the Tom Yum soup. My only real complaint with this place is that it does not seem like they hire enough people. It seems the staff is overworked so it seems to take a long time to get anything. I usually end up having to go up to ask for what I need.

Goro’s Sushi2619 Mossrock, San Antonio, TX 78230
Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the sushi was really good and I thought it was affordable for the quality and amount. Definitely recommend.

I really liked the naan here. I also thought the service was good considering the price and quality.

Koreana Restaurant2458 Harry Wurzbach Rd #5, San Antonio, TX 78209
Polite service, but I didn’t feel welcomed here. However, the food was good. The real deal. I don’t see the sampler plate on the menu available online, but there was some kind of sampler plate that someone ordered for me. It was really good. A ton of stuff to try out.

Moroccan Bites Tajine5718 Evers Rd, San Antonio, TX 78238
As seen on TV. This is the real deal. I really like the baklava.

Thai food. Great service. Small spot. Locally owned. Meals are cooked to order, so please be patient. I’ve never had a bad meal here. I highly recommend the Panang Curry.

Pasha Mediterranean Grillmultiple locations
I like to order the Pasha Bowl with Basmati rice, Shirazi, extra Tzatziki, and Gyro. I really love the Naan with oil & spices here.

This is my favorite spot in Texas so far for bahn mi sandwiches. I highly recommend the lemongrass beef bahn mi. Great service.

Tarka Indian Kitchenmultiple locations
This might be considered Indian fast food, but I really like it. I recommend the samosas, garlic naan, mango lemonade, and coconut chicken curry.

Thai Café11318 Perrin Beitel Rd, San Antonio, TX 78217
This is a great place for the price and the amount of food. But the ambiance could use an update. Sometimes it smells in here. I usually take the food to go. But the food is fabulous. They used to have a buffet that was fabulous. If they ever bring it back, definitely try it. My favorite dish here is the Yam Nua beef salad.
